Lahore: Opposition politicians remained unimpressed by the ruling party’s show of power and criticised it for creating chaos in the federal capital.

PTI leaders and its workers posted tweets dismissing ruling party’s claims of a huge turn out. These tweets said that the ruling party was putting up photos from its old rallies to back up their claims.

PPP Senator Sherry Rehman? asked on Twitter that the PML-N was still in power then who were they protesting against? “Ruling party creating chaos in the capital, distress for citizens in bizarre rally by a government in office. Power play against whom?” she tweeted.

Rehman as well as Shireen Mazari? of PTI took exception to a banner displayed in Rawalpindi by N-League supports showing a map of Pakistan without Indian-held Kashmir. “Shameful how NS posters showing map of Pakistan without Kashmir! So do we have answer to our Q: Kis kay isharay per yeh sub kar rahay hain?” Mazari tweeted.

PPP Senator Nafisa Shah, meanwhile, found it contradictory that Sharif did not the Parliament its due importance when in power but was talking about the supremacy of civilian institutions when he had been disqualified by the Apex court.
