Farooq Sattar disassociates party from Nine-Zero

KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s president, Dr.Farooq Sattar has said on Tuesday that they had parted their ways and have no any connection with London after the indecent speech by Altaf Hussain on August 22nd .

Addressing to a press conference in Bahadurabad, the party leader said “Our party workers are still targeted even after our disassociation from London. “Many fake cases have been registered against our workers; many workers are missing and have not been released yet.

“Neither our politics have harmed any national policies nor are we involved in any anti-sate activities since we disassociated ourselves from London. “We are living in Pakistan and believe in doing Pakistani politics even we are ready to bring reforms in our policies.

“He ensured the national defense department of Pakistan to be true and sincere Pakistan”

He also announced to celebrate the 70th Independence Day of Pakistan with the highest zeal and enthusiasm. ” Yom-e-Azadi festival will be held from 11th of August to 24th of August while the “Clean Campaign” will be continued from 14th of August to 23rd of August”.

The festival consists of musical concerts of national songs, Green complain fro plantation of trees and hoisting of national flags at various locations.

Recalling the political history for making of Pakistan, he appreciated the role of Sir Syed Ahmed Khan, Maulana Muhammad Ali Jauhar and others.

“Millions of people have sacrificed their lives for making this country, ‘Being Pakistani this is our duty to remember to all the sacrifices rendered by our elder and political leaders. We must care and respect the day”.

“Independence day will be celebrated in various cities of the country – from Karachi to Gilgit Baltistan.

Deputy Convener, Kanwar Naweed Jameel, Rauf Siddiqi, Kamran Tessori, Khalid Sultan Shaqeel Ahmed and others were also present on the occasion.
