Pakistan committed to holy sites’ defence: COAS

Islamabad: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa has reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to the defence of Harmain Sharifain — Islam’s two holiest sites, an ISPR statement on Wednesday.

The statement was issued following a meeting between the COAS and KSA Deputy Defence Minister Mohammad Bin Abdullah Al-Aysh. It said that the COAS also assured the dignitary of Pakistan’s commitment to safeguarding the kingdom’s territorial integrity.
