UMERKOT: Additional District Judge Naveed Hussain Kolachi hearing case of humiliation of Dr Kiran and lady health visitor Tejhan at the hands of a court superintendent and lady police in courtroom adjourned hearing till today on applications by them as Tejhan was to appear before Sindh High Court Sindh Circuit Bench Hyderabad.
Father of Tejhan in request prayed court that his daughter cannot appear before inquiry committee, as she was appearing before Sindh High Court. Dr Kiran also moved application for not appearing; therefore matter was adjourned and fixed on Friday.
Tejhan has filed a constitutional petition before Sindh High Court Circuit Bench Hyderabad praying Court a judicial inquiry against involved persons and directing SSP to register FIR against respondents Akbar Ali Rahimoo, PC Shabana Shaikh and PC Tarique Ranghar for kidnapping and putting them in wrongful confinement and subjected them to ruthless torture.
Dr Hemji husband of Dr Kiran and relations of Tejhan have alleged some political persons have been visiting district bar office, house of Dr Kiran and Tejhan to beg apology for accused in the case.
A joint committee has also been formed including Dr Azam Khoso President PMA Umerkot, Prem General Secretary PMA, Dr Allahdad Rathor, Ismail Bajeer and Anees Nohri leaders of paramedics, Usman and Asif Jhanji of Nursing Staff for probing the matter.
