Quetta: In connection with the ongoing 70th Independence Day Celebrations in Balochistan, an impressive Azadi Mela was held at Ayub Stadium under the arrangements of Pakistan Army. Provincial Minister for Home and Tribal Affairs, Mr. Sarfraz Bugti was the chief guest on the occasion.
While speaking on the occasion he said that the ongoing Independence Day Celebrations in Balochistan have only been made possible due to the sacrifices rendered by the people of Balochistan and security forces in particular who stood against the miscreants and did not allow them to sabotage the peace of the country.
He thanked the Pakistan Army for the meticulous planning and organising of such a successful Azadi Mela. Stalls of different departments were part of the event including stalls of Lok Versa Islamabad, Culture and Tourism Departments of all provinces, stalls of military outfits displaying military weapons and equipment and miscellaneous stalls from within Quetta.
