ISLAMABAD: Chinese Vice Prime Minister Wang Yang will pay a two-day visit to the country on August 13 to participate in Pakistan’s 70th Independence Day celebrations.
Reports said that the Chinese vice premier will be accompanying by a high-level delegation in his two days visit to the country. Yang along with Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi would participate in the national flag hoisting ceremony on August 14 at the Parliament House followed by a reception to be hosted in his honour.
It further said that the visiting Chinese vice prime minister would hold bilateral talks with Prime Minister Abbasi at the Prime Minister House in which the two sides are expected to sign several memoranda of understandings (MoUs) and agreements aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
They said that the visiting Chinese vice premier is also expected to attend other events related to Pakistan Independence Day celebrations in the federal capital.
