KARACHI: A fake FIA official has been arrested on Wednesday from Karachi by Federal Investigation Agency who while portraying himself as an FIA officer has married Several women in different cities of country.
According to an FIA official regarding an Enquiry No.47/2016 against Ch. Muhammad Akram who as per oral and documentary evidence provided by complainant Mst. Asma that Akram impersonating himself as Sub-Inspector FIA had committed cheating and fraud with general public in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi.
Alleged Ch. Muhammad Akram has married with the complainant lady by presenting himself as SI FIA and has extorted huge money from her. During the enquiry the FIA Identity card recovered from the alleged was found as fake/forged by FIA Hqrs Islamabad. Enquiry further reveals that the alleged Ch. Akram has also married another lady namely Sadia in Karachi claming as SI. FIA. The EO Inspector Ali Hassan Zardari made hectic efforts to apprehend the alleged. Today on receipt of intelligence report through sources, he apprehended Ch. Muhammad Akram after proper identification through his CNIC. During personal search the fake FIA ID card No.145170 was recovered from his possession. Case FIR No.20/2017 under section 419/420/468/471/109 PPC has been registered against accused Muhammad Akram s/o Noor Muhammad and he was arrested. Subsequently he was produced in the court of law which pleased to grant FIA Police Custody remand of accused. Further investigation is in progress.
