LUJ office-bearers take oath

SHIKARPUR: An oath taking ceremony of newly elected members of Larkana Union of Journalists, unit Khanpur was held at Khanpur Town of Shikarpur district some 20 kilometers away from here.

Agha Masih-ul-uddin Khan Durrani, district chairman Shikarpur administered the oath.

The elected representatives including Rahim Larik, Ronaqu Muhassan, Yasin Abro and others, They vowed to raise voice of poor up to federal and provincial assemblies for resolution of the problems.

Meanwhile, employees of Municipal Committee Shikarpur held a protest demonstration against Chief Municipal Officer for not signing their monthly salary bill July 2017, in front of Shikarpur Press Club. Agha Babar Pathan, Rasheed Shah, Asif Jamali, Abdul Baseer Soomro and others while speaking on the occasion condemned delaying tactics of CMO Barkat Memon. Around eight hundred Municipal Committee employees and pensioners have been deprived from their July 2017 salary and pension, they added.
