KHAIPUR: District Election Commissioner Khairpur Masood Ahmed Qureshi and Election Commissioner Muhammad Yousuf Majeedani have appealed people attaining age to vote to register themselves at the office. Seminars will be arranged in education institutions on ‘vote today not tomorrow’ and in this connection committees have been formed. Talking at press club Khairpur regarding the importance of vote, they informed 969,445 voters have been registered in district including 531,848 male and 437,697 female voters. They asked youth above 18 years to come to the office and enter their votes. Below 50 percent people casts votes while 30 percent were not casting votes in general elections on average in the district.
