Crime on the rise in Shikarpur

SHIKARPUR: The civil society members of Shikarpur have expressed concern over increasing incidents of crime in the district.

A team of ‘Save Shikarpur’ meeting with Deputy Commissioner Shikarpur and SSP Shikarpur told them citizens of several parts of district remained unsafe on account of rising criminal activities.

Ali Asghar Pahore Advocate, Chairman Save Shikarpur, Zahid Bhanbhro, Zafar Alvi, Zafar Channa, Asadullah Soomro, Abdul Ghaffor Dayo and expressed their reservations over increasing criminal activities and presented list of affected persons who were deprived of from their valuables and other articles in recent incidents and demanded deployment of police personnel at entry and exit points of Shikarpur.

SSP Shikarpur Umar assured them that their problems would be resolved soon and combing operation would be launched against criminals and dacoits after Eid-ul-Azha.

DC Shikarpur Hassan Raza Shah also assured delegation of Save for resolution of their issues.
