LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has instructed the Punjab health minister Khawaja Imran Nazir and the secretary health department to reach out to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government to support them in controlling the spread of dengue fever in the province.
The chief minister took notice of the spread of dengue in KP and said that “People living in the KP province are our brethren and we are ready to extend all-out support to them to effectively deal with dengue disease. We will be happy to provide support to our brothers there”.
In the past, most of the cases reported were in Punjab and taking note of the severity of this disease and the necessity for controlling it, CM said, “It would be our duty helping them in such a tough time when the dangerous dengue disease has outburst in the province”.
