Two killed in road accident

JACOBABAD: Motorcyclists identified as Shankar Lal and Avi lost their lives in an accident on Quetta Road in Saddar police precincts, police said. The motorcycle they were riding was hit by another bike. The bodies of the deceased were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital Jacobabad. Police have taken both the men riding the other motorcycle into custody and started an investigation. Meanwhile, unidentified armed men fled away after snatching a Kalashnikov from policeman Himat Ali Brohi, guarding Khairthar Canal Police kiosk in Tajo Dero Police Station limits in Garhi Kheero teshil. SSP Jacobabad Sarfraz Nawaz has ordered investigations into the matter.
