Dollar stands flat in value versus rupee

KARACHI: The greenback remained flat in interbank while slightly gained strength in value against domestic unit in open market, treasurers and currency dealers said. It started the day’s trading at Rs 105.29 for buying, with one paisa variation it closed flat at Rs 105.30 for buying and at Rs 105.50 for selling in interbank.

The euro closed down against rupee as it started day’s trading at Rs 123.56 for buying, closed at Rs 123.56 for buying and closed at Rs 123.76 for selling.

The pound sterling remained firm against local currency as it initiated the day’s trading at Rs 135.52 for buying and closed at Rs 135.72 for buying and Rs 135.92 for selling.

Kerb market: The dollar remained up against the rupee, dealers said. It started the day’s trading at Rs 107.60 for buying and closed at Rs 107.65 for buying after gaining 05 paisas in value and stood at Rs 107.85 for selling. The euro remained dull versus the rupee as it started the day’s trading at Rs 124.50 for buying, with 20 paisas change in value it closed at Rs 124.30 for buying and at Rs 124.50 for selling. The pound remained down against the rupee as it started the day’s trading at Rs 136.75 for buying, closed with 45 paisas change in value for buying and closed at Rs 136.50 for selling.
