ANP leader injured in assault by PTI-P MPA near KP Assembly

A provincial leader of the Awami National Party (ANP) was injured in an attack near the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly in Peshawar. The incident occurred late Saturday night, allegedly involving a member of the provincial assembly (MPA) from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-Parliamentarians (PTI-P). ANP leader Alf Khan was allegedly assaulted by PTI-P’s MPA Iqbal Wazir and his companions. Peshawar Police have registered a case against Iqbal Wazir following the incident. As per the report, ANP’s provincial leader Alf Khan sustained minor injuries and was promptly taken to the hospital for medical treatment. The channel said the case is being registered against the PTI-P MPA Iqbal Wazir in Police Station Sharqi (East) in Peshawar city.
