LARKANA: Sindh Home Minister Suhail Anwar Siyal has said that founder of MQM and Kulbhushan Yadev are equally deceitful of the country adding MQM founder needs also to be hanged.

He said MQM founder exposed himself during his August 22 speech. He said stern action will be taken against those who observed black day in the province because Pakistan is first for the PPP and all traitors and terrorists will be treated equally irrespective of which party they belong to. He was talking to the media at the Larkana Press Club here on Sunday. He said that it is our prime duty to maintain peace in Sindh including Karachi adding lot of improvement has been made after the PPP government. Home Minister said Sindh police is working better than other provinces.

He said the federal government is taking credit for bringing peace in Karachi but it was decided that 50% of operation expenditure will be borne by it but it has not so far released anything. He said that federal government’s double standard is continuing with Sindh even today. Suhail Siyal said that 10,000 new recruits will be added to the Sindh police. Siyal said that order has been placed for procurement of 30,000 KK rifles and other weapons and in second phase infrastructure of Sindh police will be paid more attention. He said that the shortage of mobile vans in police stations of the province has also been overcome.

He claimed that ratio of street crimes in Karachi is better than world’s developed cities. He said two groups are involved in target killing of police in Karachi out of which one has been busted and actions are underway to arrest the other group. He said that actions of Sindh police and CTD are commendable which is why the compensation of martyred policemen has been doubled.

He said that whenever Nawaz Sharif is out of government he always talks of danger to the democracy adding we are not with NS but with democracy. He said NS is attacking courts and institutions and asked to disclose names of those committing highhandedness because both federal & provincial governments are of PML-Nawaz.

He said that issue of disappeared persons is pending in the court but even then he has directed police to take action for their recovery. He said encroachments in Larkana will not be tolerated and soon a massive drive will be initiated against such evils adding development schemes will also be accelerated in Larkana. He urged the residents to accept their responsibilities in maintaining cleanliness in their respective areas as well. DIG Abdullah Shaikh, SSP Sajid Amir Sadozai, Mayor Aslam Shaikh and others were also present on the occasion.
