Three unidentified bodies found from Northern Bypass

KARACHI: At least three bullet-riddled dead bodies of unidentified persons have been found from near the Northern Bypass police check post in the metropolis on Monday. The bodies of the victims are between 30 to 35; who were later shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

SHO SITE Superhighway police station Anar Khan told Daily Times that bodies have remained unidentified as police have found nothing from their possession, “unknown killers shoot the deceased on their faces and heads in the result their faces have been smeared severely we could say nothing about the face readings of deceased” Anar Khan further told.

A pamphlet bearing a message from the militant group Ansar-ul-Sharia Pakistan was also found at the crime scene.

The recovery of the pamphlet on Monday has caused a mystery and confused the law enforcers. In the pamphlet, the killers of the three men have claimed the responsibility of their killings and said that they are against the killings of poor policemen and security personnel. They said that those involved in police killings are the supporters of the foreign spy agencies – RAW and Mossad but now they have been killed by the real mujahideen and this was an revenge of the killings of the policemen in Karachi and such revenges would continue in the future. “We will not even leave their families if they continue to use our name and killing the policemen in Karachi,” the pamphlet warned.

A few days ago, two police volunteers were targeted in the same area during which one of the volunteers was killed while another was wounded. The investigation officials have started probing the matter.

On August 17th , two policemen lost their lives in separate incidents in the port city. The policemen were shot dead in separate incidents – one was killed in a targeted attack on the Northern Bypass, while the other lost his life while attempting to foil a robbery bid in Ferozabad.

The dead bodies were shifted into the Abbasi Shaheed hospital where investigating officers took their finger prints along with forensic experts to obtain their indemnification’s record from NADRA, after the postmortem the police have taken them to Eidhi Morgue.
