5 Ramazan, 16 sasta bazaars to be set up in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: The City District Government Rawalpindi has approved the establishment of 16 sasta and five Ramazan bazaars for ensuring the availability of quality kitchen items at subsidised prices to citizens during the holy month of Ramazan. The approval of the Ramadan and sasta bazaars had been given during a meeting at DC Talat Mehmood Gondal’s office. The Ramazan and sasta bazaars would start functioning from May 24, where fresh vegetables, fruits, meat, soft drinks, flour, sugar, pulses and other commodities would be available at subsidised rates. DC Talat Mehmood Gondal also advised the authorities concerned to make available other facilities like shopping trolleys, tents, chairs and wheel chairs for the handicapped, and set up a medical camp for the visitors.
