‘Give way to ambulance’

LAHORE: The International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) will launch an awareness campaign titled “Ambulance Ko Rasta Dain” in three provinces of Pakistan from October 1 to December 31.

In this connection, the ICRC Tuesday organised a seminar at the Alhamra Arts Council to create awareness among people. Representatives of health, police transportation departments were present on the occasion, besides personnel of Traffic Police Rescue 1122.

The campaign will initiate from Lahore, Peshawar, Karachi, and Rawalpindi.

All the participants, including Alhamra Arts Council Executive Director Capt (r) Atta Mohammad Khan, assured the committee that they would take every possible step to make the campaign a success.

Speakers said that sometimes people did not give way to ambulances, which poses a serious to threat to patients lives.
