LAHORE: Following United States President Donald Trump’s remarks on Pakistan, US ambassador David Hale met with Pakistan Army Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa at General Headquarters (GHQ), Rawalpindi on Wednesday.

In the meeting, David Hale, on behalf of US, acknowledged the efforts of Pakistan in the war on terror and said that the US needs Pakistan to cooperate in order to eradicate terrorism from the region.

“We are not looking for any material or financial assistance from USA but trust, understanding and acknowledgement of our contributions,” COAS said in response.

COAS also suggested that this war can only be won through proper collaboration between all the nations involved in ending terrorism.
