Govt to distribute laptops among seminary students

RAWALPINDI: The Punjab government has decided to distribute laptops among students studying in various madrassas in Punjab, including the Rawalpindi Division.

The Punjab government has also decided to distribute laptops among the outstandingly students hailing from Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

According to sources, a merit policy has already been worked out according to which laptops will be distributed among the students. Moreover, people who have already been given laptops will not be eligible to get laptops under the current scheme.

The students who have achieved over 90 percent marks in board examinations during the last two years will be eligible for getting the laptops. The students who have secured over 60 percent numbers in BS, masters and PhD examinations during the last two years will also be eligible for getting the laptops.
