PPL Adhi Field’s operational parameters, safety protocols inspected

Chairman of Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) Masroor Khan, along with Mr. Zain-ul-Abideen Qureshi (Member-Oil, OGRA) and other senior officials of OGRA conducted a comprehensive day-long inspection at Pakistan Petroleum Limited-Adhi Field, Gujar Khan, to assess their operational parameters and safety protocols. The delegation visited LPG/NGL recovery plants, storage/dispatch facility, LPG Bowzer filling operations and drilling rig engaged at Adhi South-8. PPL demonstrated state-of-the-art safety procedures aimed at addressing potential challenges and preventing accidents, which were deemed satisfactory and meeting the required standards. The visit proved to be insightful experience for OGRA officials, as the PPL management demonstrated their operational proficiency and professional expertise. It is worth mentioned here that Adhi Field contributes 35 MMscfd gas , 6,000 bpd crude oil, and 170 MT/d LPG to the nation.
