Governor opens Millennium University College, Clifton

KARACHI: Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair inaugurated The Millennium University College (TMUC), Clifton on Sunday.

“The Millennium University College is spreading education nationwide with consistency and academic excellence under the dynamic leadership of Chief Executive Chaudhry Faisal Mushtaq,” a press release issued by the university said.

“Another milestone in the history of Roots Millennium Schools was created by the grand inauguration ceremony of The Millennium University College TMUC at Clifton, Karachi to further its academic mission by providing world class education to the youth of Pakistan,” it said.

“The flagship TMUC Campus at Clifton Karachi beautifully in the heart of Clifton and DHA is a state of the art purpose built campus having numerous facilities inside it for learners and teachers and community. The campus boasts latest learning technologies and world class educational infrastructure to achieve the heights of success in academics and extracurricular activities,” it said.

“The landmark inaugural, arranged at The Millennium University College, Clifton Campus, Karachi commenced with the reception of the chief guest by the Chief Executive Chaudhry Faisal Mushtaq, Executive Director Anna Faisal, directors and Principal Fauzia Zubair,” it said.

“The chief guest was given a tour of the campus by Chief Executive Faisal Mushtaq and administration. They showed him around the dynamic purpose built institution in Clifton, wherein he was shown various departments, class rooms and other facilities including the library, moot court, fashion lab, student chill out room, laboratories, sky line cafeteria by Sattarbuksh Express, counselling room, and the state of the art IT and knowledge room and the talk room. Later the guests were also given an introduction to the TMUC’s aims and ambitions and then a virtual tour of the institution,” it said.

“Roots Millennium Schools’ TMUC Clifton, Karachi is dedicated to youth of Pakistan; who have the constitutional right to education, classroom and school. Through this campus, RMS salute the courage and commitment of all learners, families, teachers and community who have devoted their lives to noble cause of teaching and learning, and RMS pledge to make Pakistan’s Literacy Landscape an enduring success in support of Sustainable Development Goals SDG’s 2030,” it said.

“In his welcome speech Faisal Mushtaq thanked the distinguished guests for gracing the occasion while reflecting on the Roots Millennium Schools’ mission and commitment to bring quality education and to developing the right set of skills, attitudes, knowledge and values within Millennials so that they can confidently meet the global challenges of the 21st century,” the statement said.

Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair congratulated Faisal Mushtaq and his team on establishing a world class institution to promote quality education in Karachi. During the campus visit, he was amazed to see the campus facilities such as the science lab, IT and knowledge room, moot court, student chill out room and the fashion lab. The chief guest then unveiled the inaugural plaque followed by an outstanding display of fireworks.
