KHAIRPUR: Khairpur Police arrested two notorious criminals in injured condition after an encounter near Shah Hussain bypass Khairpur. The arrested were identified as Akber Ali Lohar alias Papo Lohar and Wali Muhammad Lohar while police claimed to have recovered weapons and a stolen motorcycle from their possession while their other accomplices succeeded to escape from the spot. In another encounter, Gambat Police near Khuhra arrested notorious criminals Imtaiz Ali in injured condition, wanted in heinous crimes. Police shifted injured to Gambat and Civil Hospital Khairpur.
Meanwhile relatives of arrested men told journalists that these were police-tailored fake encounters and their men have nothing to do with criminal activities.
