DC reviews wall painting drive in schools

LAHORE: Deputy Commissioner Sumair Ahmed Syed has directed the Education Authority chief executive officer and Lahore district monitoring officer to implement School Reforms Roadmap in letter and spirit.

It must be the priority of the district administration to provide a friendly environment at all schools of the city according to the vision of the chief minister, said the deputy commissioner while reviewing the wall painting drives in schools on Monday.

He said that strict monitoring of visiting staff to all government schools had been ordered and the DMO had also been directed to achieve all the set goals.

The deputy commissioner had also ordered officials concerned to help ensure enrolment of students, presence of teachers at schools.

He ordered the CEO and the DMO to pay visits to schools.
