Ghulam Qadir Chandio, Assistant Professor, told that SAU syndicate meeting was held in January 2017 and VC sent a letter to Sindh Governor where it has been pending for approval since past eight months. He said total 11 Assistant Professors have been badly affected as they were in Basic Pay Scale 19 at the moment and according to syndicate decision, they would be promoted to BPS-20 but due to administrative bottlenecks they were being deprived of their just right. Out of these 11, seven are posted in SAU and four in Z A Bhutto Agriculture College. At present as many as 350 students are enrolled in College and every year 100 are added through fresh admissions. The affected teachers have demanded of SAU Vice Chancellor to issue strict directives without loss of further time so that they could be able to benefit from decision as same benefits have already been enjoyed by employees of other universities of province as per policy of upgradation of teaching staff.
