HYDERABAD: Journalists for Democracy and Human Rights (JDHR) conducted a three-day workshop on ‘Reporting on Minority Community Issues’ at Training Resources Centre Hyderabad. Print and electronic media should have to coverage the issues of minorities, in order to maintain peaceful environment by interaction with every individual in the country. Talking about JDHR efforts towards Minority Community Issues, Shafquat Muneer said that in our country people were following footprints of discrimination on religious basis. We have to provide support through proper channels as interfaith harmony and tolerance could make our image more soft and positive. Social Activist Shahid Shah said that minority issues were serious in Pakistan and especially in Sindh. Journalists are the only source to highlight such issues to high authorities.Azma Lateef from International Alert said that positive thoughts and progressive approaches could support such matters and mindset of median should be humanist.
