SHC CJ seeks inquiry report from D&SJs;

Karachi: The Chief Justice Sindh High Court Justice Ahmed Ali M Sheikh on Tuesday took notice of poor condition of government schools in different districts of Sindh.

Justice Sheikh took notice on a news item regarding unavailability of basic facilities and absences of teachers in schools.

The CJ directed District and Sessions judges of Tando Muhammad Khan, Methi, Kashmore and Khairpur districts to hold inquiry into the issue and submitted a report to the him

The top provincial judge had sought such details after taking ‘serious’ notice of a news item in the media on various issues pertaining to absence of teachers, condition of the schools’ premises, non-availability of school buildings, shortage of teachers and the numbers of students.
