Several naanbais fined for selling roti on higher prices

The Raiwind assistant commissioner on Wednesday inspected the weight of roti and naan at various places across the tehsil.

The AC imposed heavy fines on several shops and hotels, saying She will not allow anyone to violate the instructions of the Punjab government.

According to the details, on the Special instructions of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Assistant Commissioner Raiwand Dr Zainab Tahir visited 310 different places in the tehsil under the program “Cheap Roti and Naan” and imposed heavy fines on various shopkeepers and hotels. Several shops were also sealed.

Talking to the media, she said that no one will be allowed to do illegal work, and warned of strict action against violations of government’s instrunctions.
