Modern Computerised Citizens Facilitation Centre inaugurated

BAHAWALPUR: Regional Police Officer (RPO) Riffat Mukhtar Raja and District Police Officer (DPO) Dr Akhter Abbas inaugurated the modern computerised citizen’s facilitation centre at Baghdadul Jadeed Police Station on Friday.

The facilitation centre will provide services including issuance of police verification, character certificate, security clearance, learner driving licence, no objection certificates (NOCs), CNIC verification, mobile phone blocking and safety information.

Speaking on the occasion, Riffat Mukhtar Raja said that the provision of modern computerised facilitation services to the citizens under one roof was gift to the people of Bahawalpur. He said that the objective of this facilitation centre was to help the general public and ensure effective delivery of public services in a smooth and hassle-free manner, without any inconvenience to the citizens.

SP Investigation Rab Nawaz, DSPs and civil society representatives were also present on the occasion.
