KARACHI: After spending first two days of the Eid ul Adha greeting each other and offering sacrifices and distributing meat, Karachiites spent third day of Eid in parks and other recreational venues.

Families particularly children visited entertaining places on the third day of Eid-ul-Azha to make their last holiday more enjoyable. All the public places were crowded with people which cause gridlock around parks and other such places.

“Today we are here to make our holiday more joyful after offering sacrifice,” said Sultan Ali, at a busiest park of sea view road in Karachi. The security arrangements were very good, he added

Mrs. Sultan shared her views that kids are enjoying rides in the parks, playing games with each other and we, women, are preparing to serve them lunch as have brought foods with us which we cooked.

People have already made plans for barbecue parties at sea side. Mohammad Azeem, who came with his family, at sea side told that “whole the year women cook at home for us why can’t men cook for them for a day. Today we are making barbecue and women will enjoy eating it”.

In order to make the most of their holidays people take their children to the zoo, despite the warm weather, Karachi Zoo was filled with people since morning on the third day of Eid-ul-Azha.

Arshiyan, a teenage said that it was the last day of holidays and what can be a better way to spend last day than visiting the zoo. “I want to feed the slaughtered animals’ meat to lion as well that is why I forced my father to take us to the Zoo,” said Arshiyan.
