Senior journalist passes away

SHIKARPUR: Hazar Khan Chandio, a senior journalist of Shikarpur, passed away due to heart attack at his native village of Ali Gul Chandio near Dakhan Town, on Friday.

He will be remembered by his friends and detractors alike as a soft-spoken and cultured individual. He is survived by his four sons, four daughters and spouse.

Sultan Rind, President of Larkana Union of Journalists Shikarpur, Waheed Phulpoto, Rahim Bux Jamali, Waheed Bhutto, Waheed Jokhio, Waheed Brohi, Aslam Soomro, Imdad Khakhrani, Ali Asghar Thaheem, Yasin Darejo, Agha Israr, senior journalists, notables of his community and civil society members attended his funeral prayer. Later, he was laid to rest in his ancestral graveyard in Ali Gul Chandio.
