KHAIRPUR: The police said on Saturday that three traders from Karachi named Ajab Khan Pathan, Muhammad Usman Khan and Suleman Khan Pathan were kidnapped by armed men while traveling on the National Highway near Baberloi Bypass. The police recovered their vehicle from the jurisdiction of Baberloi Police Station.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Akram Khuhro and Imtiaz Khuhro were released from Gambat police custody after an inquiry declared cases registered against them to be fake. The inquiry was initiated by Headquarters SP Anwer Bugti after protests by the two men’s relatives and other people of the area. The SP found both men to be innocent and recommended action against Gambat SHO Rana Sanaullah and other cops for booking the men in a fake case.
