KHYBER AGENCY: The Punjab mobile health unit conducted a camp for detection and treatment of dengue in Bara Tehsil of Khyber Agency.
The figure of dengue patients has reached to 24, comprising five in Bara while 19 in Jamrud tehsil have been detected so far in Khyber Agency.
On special request of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif sent the mobile health unit to facilitate the tribesmen.
In a day-long camp 506 patients, including 206 male, 138 female and 182 children were thoroughly examined.
Dengue tests were conducted of 34 suspected patients in whom only one patient was found dengue positive.
Earlier, the mobile health unit carried out one each medical camps in Ghundi and Surkamr areas of Jamrud and provided all necessary medical assistance to dwellers of the area pertaining dengue disease.
