PPP to hold public meeting in Mozang tomorrow

LAHORE: The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has announced to hold a public meeting at Mozang Chungi on Thursday in connection with the by-election campaign in NA-120.

PPP Central Punjab President Qamar Zaman Kaira, General Secretary Nadeem Afzal Chann, Lahore District President Haji Azizur Rehman Chann, Secretary General Nayar Hussain Bukhari, Samina Khalid Ghurki and nominated candidate of the party for NA-120 by-election Faisal Mir will address the public meeting to mobilise jialas for playing an active role on the polling day, September 17.

The meeting was decided in a party meeting at the party’s main election office, presided over by Kaira on Tuesday, while Faisal Mir and other local leaders also attended it.

Talking to journalists after the meeting, Kaira said that the PPP was reemerging and getting street power, as old cadre of the party had been reactivated in the by-election with new energetic approach to strengthen the party in Punjab once again.
