Author: Online

ISLAMABAD: Mashal Khan’s father has claimed that ‘actors’ have been held, while no action has been taken against ‘directors’ behind his son’s killing.

Talking to media outside the Supreme Court on Friday, Khan’s father stressed that his son will not return, however, lives of other Pakistani sons can be saved, which will elevate Pakistan’s respect and pride. He termed Mashal a son of soil who was lynched on basis of blasphemy allegations, while he expressed regret over the attitude of University administration for failing to lodge a complaint over the incident. He applauded Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Saqib Nisar for taking suo motu notice of his son’s lynching and hoped that the case will reach to its conclusion. He urged the government to arrest key persons and their facilitators and punish them according to law, so that justice can be upheld and true picture of Islamic republic of Pakistan could be depicted.
