Conspirers are bound to fail: Maryam Nawaz

Author: NNI

LAHORE: Maryam Nawaz, daughter of the former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, on Thursday said that those conspiring against the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz were destined to fail in their designs.

“Our opponent conspires away from the battle field… then loses inside not once but frequently… then conspires again,” she said while addressing a PML-N youth convention in wake of NA-120 by-election at Aiwan-e-Iqbal.

While addressing the youth, Maryam said that she had not seen such enthusiasm in her entire life. She said that only two days were left in NA-120 by-election and she was seeing extreme fervour in the supporters every day. “This enthusiasm will convert into votes. September 17 will inflict defeat on the forces who conspired against Nawaz Sharif,” she said. When the crowd started chanting slogans against Imran Khan, she stopped the people from taking PTI chief’s name and said that Imran was just a pawn in the bigger game. “When Nawaz Sharif is not in power, the country faces all sorts of crises in the shape of terrorism and load shedding,” she claimed. “When Nawaz is in power, country is prosperous and he makes CPEC,” she claimed, referring to development projects initiated by the incumbent government, including the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.

Maryam claimed that it was evident that the PML-N would win NA-120 by-election. “We have to win this election, and with a great margin,” she said. She urged PML-N supporters to pull out voters in great numbers from every street.
