NAUDERO: Heavy storm lashed out the town and nearby villages on Wednesday. In result, 14-year Dhani Bukhsh, son of Irshad Bhutto, was electrocuted.
Power supply has been restored after 24 hours following a heavy storm hit the town and its adjoining villages.
Meanwhile, villagers of Khathi Kalhora have rescued nine children from a destroyed house.
Dildar Kalhoro received head injuries and was referred to Chandka Medical College Hospital, Larkana.
The seven feeders of Naudero grid stations tripped soon after heavy showers lashed the area. The rainwater has inundated roads and streets besides, however the municipal staff of concerned areas started work on draining out the rainwater.
Trees and electric poles were uprooted in heavy winds. Maintenance staff of Sukkur Electric Power Company has started repair work on the damaged power lines. Garhi Khuda Bux remained without power supply for 24 hours.
