SUKKUR: Labour Colony residents in the Mirpur Mathelo district nabbed Qurban Pitafi, Arif Soomro and Akhlaque Pitafi who allegedly attempted to sexually assault two girls after breaking into their home.
The accused were handed over to the police. Nazik Shaikh, the girl’s’ father said that the accused were members of the influential Pitafi family and had threatened him of dire consequences if he did not withdraw the case in court. The area people demanded that Chief Minster Sindh, Inspector General of Police and SSP Ghotki punish the accused in the most severe manner possible.
