SUKKUR: According to the B-Section police, three armed robbers deprived Altaf Memon of Rs 500,000 while he was on his way to the office after withdrawing money from a local bank on Race Courses Road.
At the time of the robbery, Inspector General (IG) Police AD Khawaja was inaugurating a reporting cell at the A-Section police station which is a short distance from the scene of the robbery. A case has been registered with B Section Police.
