Preliminary polling scheme of Lahore ready for general elections
Lahore: (News Desk) The preliminary polling scheme of Lahore has been prepared for the general elections.
According to the documents received by Dunya News, 68 lakh 58 thousand 95 citizens will vote for 14 seats of National Assembly of Lahore and 30 seats of Punjab Assembly, the number of male voters in Lahore is 36 lakh 36 thousand 253 while female voters are 32 lakh 21. There are 842 thousand.
In terms of voters, the largest constituency of Lahore will be NA 118 where 7 lakh 35 thousand 251 people will exercise the right to vote and the smallest constituency NA 124 has 3 lakh 10 thousand 116 voters while the largest provincial 3 lakh 68 thousand 998 citizens will vote in constituency PP 147.
4 thousand 354 polling stations and 12 thousand 991 polling booths will also be established in the city while the Election Commission will release the final polling scheme for Lahore later.
