Lahore: Multiple flights delayed, cancelled

Adverse weather conditions, particularly dense fog, have severely impacted the flight schedule at Lahore Airport, causing several delays and cancellations for both domestic and international flights.The disruptions affected various airlines and routes, with Flight DV-850 destined for Almaty being cancelled due to the challenging weather conditions. Meanwhile, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) encountered significant delays: Flight PK 263 to Abu Dhabi faced a delay of two and a half hours, while Flight PK-291 to Muscat experienced a delay of five hours. Similarly, Flight PK-283 bound for Dubai encountered a delay of three and a half hours.Other flights faced prolonged delays as well, with Flight 342 operated by Fly Baghdad to Najaf and PIA’s Karachi-bound flight experiencing schedule setbacks. Flight PK-247, headed to Dammam, faced a delay of five hours, as did the Dubai-bound PIA Flight PK-235. Additionally, the arrival of Flight PK-122 from Dubai to Lahore was notably delayed by eleven hours. Flight IF-341 operated by Fly Baghdad from Najaf also encountered delays due to the foggy conditions.These disruptions have inconvenienced passengers and impacted travel schedules, highlighting the challenges posed by adverse weather conditions, particularly dense fog, during this time.
