No space for Imran in Sindh: Durrani

Author: By Our Correspondent

LARKANA: Speaking to journalists after offering his condolences to the family of the deceased Abdul Sattar Morio, Sindh Assembly Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani said that Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan had a habit of abusing women, which was not shared by him.

He said that Khan would be wasting his time if he came to Sindh, begging for votes because the Sindhi people were with Pakistan People’s Party (PPP). He warned Khan to stop his campaign of maligning the PPP before he was on the receiving end of a well-earned reply from PPP workers. He accused Khan of trying to take the credit for Nawaz Sharif’s disqualification, even though it was the Supreme Court that had disqualified Sharif. Durrani expressed confidence that the PPP would take up the political space created in Punjab by the ouster of Sharif.
