Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi presided over an important meeting addressing the upgradation of hospitals. The meeting concluded with the decision to procure new modern equipment, beds, and essential furniture for upgraded hospitals across Punjab.
The chief minister granted approval for the acquisition of modern equipment, beds, and furniture.The upgraded hospitals in Punjab are set to receive modern wheelchairs, new waiting area benches, and upgraded furniture for doctors’ rooms. Additionally, provisions include the installation of X-ray LEDs, baby carts, and the introduction of a three-color bed sheet system for patient beds.
Wards will be equipped with medicine and instrument storage cabinets.In his directive, Mohsin Naqvi emphasized the expedited completion of the procurement process for upgraded hospitals. The meeting was attended by Provincial Minister for Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Dr. Javed Akram, Additional Chief Secretary, Chairman Planning and Development Board, Secretaries of Finance, Health, Communication, and Works, and relevant officials.Separately, Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi engaged in a comprehensive discussion with Governor Punjab Muhammad Balighur Rehman at the Governor House, covering a spectrum of issues concerning the province.

He revealed the testing of artificial rain as a measure to address the problem, with a second test scheduled later this month. Furthermore, the chief minister disclosed upcoming initiatives, including the prohibition of smoky vehicles, in the concerted fight against the escalating smog problem.
