Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar stressed the need to correct the distorted portrayal of issues faced by Baloch families, emphasizing that the Baloch people firmly support Pakistan. He condemned the involvement of terrorists and armed militants in the targeted killings of Balochistan’s residents, including doctors, lawyers, and teachers. Kakar assured a robust response from the state, firmly stating that these perpetrators cannot be granted a license to inflict harm on civilians.

In response to media queries during his visit to the Business Facilitation Center, the prime minister addressed criticism, asserting that the government is not in conflict with Baloch families. He expressed regret over deliberate efforts to spread confusion and blend unrelated matters. Kakar acknowledged the exaggerated nature of the issue concerning Baloch families, attributing the violence to terrorists receiving funding from RAW.

Highlighting the challenges faced in the fight against terrorism, the caretaker prime minister revealed that approximately 90,000 people had lost their lives, yet only a handful of individuals had been convicted. He underscored the urgent need for improvements in the country’s criminal justice system.

Responding to questions about an alleged firing incident in DIKhan involving Maulana Fazlur Rehman Amir of JUI-F, Kakar expressed alarm. He reassured that the government was actively addressing security threats in the southern parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, utilizing all available resources. Kakar affirmed the commitment to ensuring peaceful polls on the election date, expressing optimism about the successful conduct of the elections with the full utilization of resources and security apparatus.
