Addressing a rally in Sheikhupura, he emphasised that the upcoming elections on February 8 are not ordinary and called on the people to cast their votes with enthusiasm. He urged voters to consider the leader’s past when making their choice.
“This election is no ordinary election. You must come to vote with passion. When you cast your vote, you must see what the leader has done in the past,” the former prime minister remarked.
Highlighting Nawaz Sharif’s achievements, Shehbaz stated that his brother ended power outages, curtailed terrorism, and tackled unemployment during his tenure. He reminisced about the electricity load-shedding of 2013, stating that the situation had drastically improved.
“After I became prime minister, inflation did rise, but it was due to Imran Khan’s flawed policies. We, by the grace of Allah, saved Pakistan from bankruptcy without caring for politics,” he asserted.
Shehbaz assured that if the people elected Nawaz Sharif for the fourth time, they would work day and night under his brother’s leadership, and Pakistan would flourish.
“My leader, Nawaz Sharif, provided laptops to the youth, arranged free treatment for the poor, and built modern hospitals. In Lahore, he established the Kidney and Liver Transplant Institute,” Shehbaz said, emphasising Nawaz’s dedication to the welfare of the people.
