JUI stages protest rally against Rohingya genocide

Author: By Our Correspondent

DADU: Jamiat Ulema-e Islam (JUI) leaders and activists took out a rally to flay killings of Myanmar Muslims’ minority. Protesters chanted anti-Myanmar government slogans and demanded it to stop the killing of innocent Muslims. They flayed the United Nations (UN), Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and other international human rights organisations for their alleged apathy to the violence against Muslims in Myanmar, Syria, Afghanistan and Indian-held Kashmir. Speaking on the occasion, JUI-leader Hazrat Moulana Nawaz-ul-allah demanded the government of Pakistan to end diplomatic relations with Myanmar. He criticised the government for what he said that it was not taking any step to help out Rohingya refugees. He appreciated Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Nepalese government for highlighting plight of Rohingya Muslims.
