NAB sends summons to Sharifs in London

ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau has sent a court summons asking the Sharif family members to appear before the court in NAB reference to London at the residential address of the family.

An accountability court has recently issued summons to Nawaz Sharif, Hassan Nawaz, Hussain Nawaz and Safdar Awan to appear before it in NAB reference.

NAB has pasted the summons on the gate of Sharifs Lahore residence. NAB has also sent the summons to London. The bureau has asked the Pakistan High Commission officials to serve the summons.

On September 19, an accountability court reissued the summons of the family to appear before the court on September 26. During the court proceedings, NAB prosecutors had told the court that they were not allowed entry into the Sharifs multiple homes and had to hand the summons to the guards at each of the properties.
