IBA, SMBBMU sign accord

LARKANA: The Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University (SMBBMU), Larkana, have signed an accord under which facilities of Campus Management, Finance and Health Management and Computing Clouding facilities would be provided to SMBBMU employees for five years.

At the occasion, Sindh Minister of Information Technology Sikander Ali Shoro said that medical science was developing rapidly and that modern technology should be accepted and used to improve educational institutions.

He added that modern technological methods should be adopted to compete with the world and that without computer knowledge educational degrees are incomplete in today’s scientific world.

SMBBMU Vice Chancellor Ghulam Asghar Channa stated that the world was going towards computer clouding under which an academic officer would be able to run any department from any location. IBA Karachi Director Dr Furrukh Iqbal, Nisar Ahmed Siddiqui IBA Sukkur Director, Roshan Shaikh and others were present during the ceremony.
