In recognition of his outstanding humanitarian services during the COVID-19 pandemic, Bilal Bin Saqib, a young Pakistani entrepreneur, has been awarded the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) medal.

The prestigious honour was bestowed upon him by Princess Anne, following the recommendation of King Charles.

During the nationwide lockdown in 2020, Saqib’s initiative played a pivotal role in distributing over 100,000 meals to the National Health Service (NHS) and other essential workers, as well as the homeless and individuals facing economic hardships.

The award ceremony, graced by Princess Anne, showcased the significance of Saqib’s contribution to the community, particularly in a time when the world grappled with the far-reaching effects of the global health crisis.
