RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Army on Tuesday promoted Major General Zahid Hamid to the rank of lieutenant general and appointed him surgeon general of the Army Medical Corps. According to the details, Major General Zahid Hamid was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General and appointed surgeon general after the retirement of Lieutenant General Asif Sukhera. Similarly, Multan Corps Commander Lieutenant General Sarfraz Sattar has been appointed Strategic Plans Division director general after the retirement of Lieutenant General Mazhar Jameel. According to sources, new Multan corps commander will be appointed soon.
